- Summary: BC++ 4.5 vs. BC++ 3.0
- Keywords: Borland C++ Compiler

-
- I have found that Borland's C++ Version 4.5 compiler appears to create
- substantially larger DOS program executable files than does Version 3.0 from
- the same code. Parameters in each case have been set to 80286 compact code
- with size optimization. In one instance, 4.5 created a DOS program of over 118kb
- that was less than 68kb when created using 3.0.
-
- Has anyone else found this to be the case? Is there some parameter under
- 4.5 that I can invoke in order to create code more the size of the 3.0 code?
